Monday Night Raw (30/5/2011)

Many Americans enjoyed their three-day weekend barbecuing, relaxing and honoring the men and women of the U.S. military. Unfortunately for the WWE Universe, however, crazy never seems to take a holiday, and R-Truth’s been working overtime.

R-Truth def. WWE Champion John Cena by Count-out in a Non-Title Match
R-Truth may be crazy, but he’s not stupid. After landing a non-title match against WWE Champion John Cena, the delusional Superstar made the best of it. During the bout, he slid out of the ring and traded blows with his opponent. After a good bit of cat-and-mouse, Truth made a beeline back into the ring. When he hopped over a security barricade, Cena tried to follow, but Truth leveled him with a forearm to the head. The demented Superstar then quickly slid back onto the canvas, and The Champ was counted out.
Truth then jumped back over the barricade and confronted a “little Jimmy” in the audience, who he
had also picked on at the top of the broadcast. He snatched the youngster's drink cup and splashed his father with it.

Why Is Teamwork Important?

Consider the importance of teamwork in the military, with the goal of establishing a beachhead, such as the Allied invasion and D-Day landing at Normandy, France during World War II.
Now, imagine another goal of smaller scale where an infantry unit of 200 men must attack an objective in a remote mountainous area. To get there, they must travel by helicopter and to increase safety, the operation must be done at night.
Since it is a mountainous area, there isn’t much open space; five helicopters are the most that can safely fit into the landing zone (LZ) and there is only one LZ available.
Let’s say each helicopter can carry 10 passengers, so this means you will need 20 aircraft to insert these troops, but the infantry unit will have to be divided into four groups and they will arrive in the LZ in waves of 50 people each.
The number of and complexity involved will require coordination and teamwork.

How Do We Develop Strength?

  • Maximum strength can be developed with :
    • weight training

  • Elastic strength can be developed with :
    • conditioning exercises
    • complex training sessions
    • medicine ball exercises
    • plyometric exercises
    • weight training

  • Strength endurance can be developed with :
    • circuit training
    • dumbbell exercises
    • weight training
    • hill and harness running

How Do We Develop Speed?

The technique of sprinting must be rehearsed at slow speeds and then transferred to runs at maximum speed. The stimulation, excitation and correct firing order of the motor units, composed of a motor nerve (Neuron) and the group of muscles that it supplies, makes it possible for high frequency movements to occur. The whole process is not very clear but the complex coordination and timing of the motor units and muscles most certainly must be rehearsed at high speeds to implant the correct patterns.
Flexibility and a correct warm up will affect stride length and frequency (strike rate). Stride length can be improved by developing muscular strength, power, strength endurance and running technique. The development of speed is highly specific and to achieve it we should ensure that:
  • Flexibility is developed and maintained all year round
  • Strength and speed are developed in parallel
  • Skill development (technique) is pre-learned, rehearsed and perfected before it is done at high speed levels
  • Speed training is performed by using high velocity for brief intervals. This will ultimately bring into play the correct neuromuscular pathways and energy sources used

Why We Get Angry?

There is an old Chinese saying that at home or within the family, we rely on our siblings and family members. Outside of our home, we rely on friends. Friends are important because of many reasons. We keep friends not just so that they help us to pass our time, but also because they are like a pliiar to lean on in times when we are down. Of course, not all friends are reliable. There are what we called "fair-weathered friends", people who will stick with us in the good times, but disappeared the moment we are in need.
It is important to know how we choose our friends. How we choose our friends really will depend upon what we expect of them. Personally, I do not set the same kind of expectations for all the people I meet. I find that the best friends are usually the ones we knew right from the days when we were in elementary school, or junior high. It is in the learning environment of schools, in the innocence of our younger days, that we get to meet people who will be with us sometimes throughout our lives.
In the work environment, unfortunately, I find it really hard to trust anyone, especially my co-workers. This is because of the fact that we are all competing with each other in the same company, and the fear that we give away too much of ourselves and thus making us vulnerable is always nagging us atthe back of our mind. In fact, I have never had a single good friend ever since the day I left school. Pathetic, you may say, but I am sure many of us would agree with me on a certain extend.
Best friends are people whom you can entrust with your innermost secrets, with the understanding that you will not be betrayed. Best friends shed tears along with you in trying moments, and rejoice and laugh along with you when you are successful in what you do. The fact is, not all of our "friends" will celebrate wholeheartedly with us when we are doing well. Jealously is the main issue here, because as much as they would like to show that they share our joy, somewhere deep within them there is a sense of jealousy.
So, who are your friends. Choose wisely. A good friend should not be a burden on us, and neither should we take him or her for granted for all the good things they do for us. No man is an island, so they say, and friends are important. I pray that you will find true friendship in your life. They are precious, like diamonds.

Mona Lisa History...

The Mona Lisa is 16th century oil painting created by the renowned Leonardo da Vinci. The work of art depicts an enigmatic woman gazing at the viewer, and it is said that if you move across the room while looking into her eyes, they’ll follow you. It is definitely one of the most popular paintings worldwide and has been the center of many artistic, religious, and theoretical debates. The French government currently owns the Mona Lisa and it is featured at the Musee du Louvre in Paris. The painting can also be referred to as La Gioconda or La Joconde.

The name of the painting stems from the name of the woman in the portrait, Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a wealthy businessman in Florence, Italy named Francesco del Giocondo. Mona means ‘my lady’ or ‘madam’ in modern Italian, so the title is simply Madam Lisa. Art historians agree that Leonardo da Vinci likely began painting the Mona Lisa in 1503, and completed it within 4 years. In 1516 the King of France, King Francois, bought the painting and it is thought that after Leonardo’s death the painting was cut down. Some speculators think that the original had columns on both sides of the lady, whereas other art critics believe that the painting was never cut down in size. It has been suggested that there were 2 versions of the Mona Lisa painting, but many historians reject the second version. The duplicate copy can be found at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. After the French revolution the painting was moved to the Louvre, and Napoleon had it placed in his bedroom for a short time before it was returned to the Louvre. The popularity of the Mona Lisa increased in the mid 19th century because of the Symbolist movement. The painting was thought to encompass a sort of feminine mystique.

In 1911 the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre. The art thief hid in a broom closet until the museum closed, stole the painting, hid it under his jacket and walked out the front door. Eduardo de Valfierno was the mastermind behind the theft and has planned to make copies of the original and sell them as the real thing. Eventually, in 1913, he was caught when trying to sell the original to a Florence art dealer. The Mona Lisa is most famous for her facial expression, her enigmatic smile and da Vinci’s mastering of tone and color in the painting. There is much mythology and interpretations relating to the painting that mystify the world. Many art critics and art history buffs suggest that the Mona Lisa is actually a portrait of da Vinci himself in feminine form. In addition, most viewers see the meaning behind Mona Lisa’s smile very differently.

Bio.Randy Savage(My WWE MACHO MAN)

He is the Macho Man....
Macho Man, Macho King
6'2"
237 lbs.
Sarasota, Fla.
Elbow drop off the top rope
Angelo Poffo
WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, married Miss Elizabeth at SummerSlam 1991

Few Superstars were as dynamic as "Macho Man" Randy Savage. His style — perfectly punctuated by his entrance music, "Pomp and Circumstance" — was only outshined by his performances in the ring, which led him to two WWE Championships, four WCW World Championships and a 14-month reign as Intercontinental Champion.
Joining WWE in June of 1985, Macho Man's impact was such that his services were in demand by the various managers in WWE at that time. But Savage introduced a young woman named Elizabeth to accompany him to the ring and manage him. With the First Lady of Wrestling as his manager, the Superstar’s first major achievement was reaching the finals of a one-night tournament, as part of the Wrestling Classic pay-per-view event in November of 1985. The following February, after a lengthy rivalry with then-Intercontinental Champion Tito Santana, Macho Man defeated the WWE Hall of Famer to earn his first taste WWE title.
Savage became a WrestleMania staple early on, making his debut on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 2 where he defended the Intercontinental Championship against the intimidating and unpredictable George "The Animal" Steele. From there, he defended the title all the way until WrestleMania III, when he fell short to Ricky Steamboat in what is widely regarded by many as one the most thrilling contests in WWE history.
Success continued to coincide with Macho Man in 1988, when he won a huge tournament at WrestleMania IV to earn his first WWE Championship. During his reign as champion, he and Hulk Hogan formed one of the most formidable tandems to ever step foot in a ring. The Mega Powers were virtually unstoppable by anyone — except for themselves. A misunderstanding and a touch of jealousy sent Savage into a rage at NBC's The Main Event, leading him to attack his tag team partner. The two took their differences to the ring at WrestleMania V, when Hogan won back the WWE Championship.
Savage went on to dub himself "Macho King" after defeating "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan for the King of the Ring title in 1989. Carrying a scepter and crown, he called on Sensational Sherri to replace Elizabeth as his manager. Savage targeted then-WWE Champion Ultimate Warrior with a series of attacks in response to being denied a title opportunity, which led to a Career-Ending Match at WrestleMania VII. When Savage was pinned, Sherri attacked him as he lay helpless. Fortunately, Elizabeth was in the audience and rushed to his aid, sparking arguably the most romantic moment the WWE Universe had ever witnessed. The sight of Miss Elizabeth and Macho Man embarking in the center of the ring after all those years was one of the fans would not soon forget..
WrestleMania VII's romance may have been topped at SummerSlam 1991. That was when WWE’s favorite couple was married in a special ceremony dubbed the "Match Made in Heaven.”
Macho Man returned to the ring shortly after and eventually earned an opportunity for a second reign as WWE Champion at WrestleMania VIII against Ric Flair. Savage was successful in earning the perfect accessory to match his golden attire, and he also put to rest rumors that Flair started, claiming he and Elizabeth were having an affair. After his run as champion, Macho Man sat next to Mr. McMahon and served as color commentator for the premiere season of Monday Night Raw in 1993.
In 1995, Savage won his first WCW World Championship, winning WCW's first-ever 60-Man Three-Ring Battle Royal. He would lose the title a month later to his rival, Flair, only to win it back from him for a second reign in early 1996.
Four years later, after a ring career that spanned back to 1973, Savage left the squared circle and left a style, a staggering list of accomplishments and a legacy, which can only be described in two words: "Oooh, yeah!"

My Time Is Now-John Cena (Lyrics)

[Chorus: John Cena]
Your time is up, my time is now
You can't see me, my time is now
It's the franchise, boy I'm shinin' now
You can't see me, my time is now!

[John Cena]
In case you forgot or fell off I'm still hot - knock your shell off
My money stack fat plus I can't turn the swell off
The franchise, doin' big bid'ness, I live this
It's automatic I win this - oh you hear those horns, you finished
A soldier, and I stay under you fightin'
Plus I'm stormin' on you chumps like I'm thunder and lightning
Ain't no way you breakin' me kid, I'm harder than nails
Plus I keep it on lock, like I'm part of the jail
I'm slaughtering stale, competition, I got the whole block wishing
they could run with my division but they gone fishing -
- with no bait, kid your boy hold weight
I got my soul straight, I brush your mouth like Colgate
In any weather I'm never better your boy's so hot
you'll never catch me in the next man's sweater
If they hate, let 'em hate, I drop ya whole clan
Lay yo' ass down for the three second tan

[Chorus]

[Tha Trademarc]
Yeah, uh
It's gonna be what it's gonna be
Five pounds of courage buddy, bass tint pants with a gold T
Uh - it's a war dance and victory step
A raw stance is a gift, when you insist it's my rep
John Cena, Trademarc, you all are so-so
And talk about the bread you make but don't know the recipe for dough though
Aimin' guns in all your photos, that's a no-no
When this pop, you'll liplock, your big talk's a blatant no-show
See what happens when the ice age melt
You see monetary status is not what matters, but it helps
I rock a timepiece by Benny if any
The same reason y'all could love me is the same reason y'all condemn me
A man's measured by the way that he thinks
Not clothing lines, ice links, leather and minks
I spent 20 plus years seekin' knowledge of self
So for now Marc Predka's livin' life for wealth

[Chorus 2x]

Grenade-Bruno Mars (Lyrics)

Easy come, easy go
That's just how you live, oh
Take, take, take it all,
But you never give
Should of known you was trouble from the first kiss,
Why were they open?
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked,
Cause what you don't understand is
I’d catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain,
Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby;
But you won't do the same

No, no, no, no
Black, black, black and blue beat me till I'm numb
Tell the devil I said “hey” when you get back to where you're from
Mad woman, bad woman,
That's just what you are, yeah,
You’ll smile in my face then rip the breaks out my car
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, yes you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked
Cause what you don't understand is
I’d catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain,
Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby;
But you won't do the same

If my body was on fire, ooh
You’ d watch me burn down in flames
You said you loved me you're a liar
Cause you never, ever, ever did baby...
But darling I’ll still catch a grenade for ya
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain,
Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby;
But you won't do the same.
No, you won’t do the same,
You wouldn’t do the same,
Ooh, you’ll never do the same,
No, no, no, no

WWE Champion John Cena & Rey Mysterio def. CM Punk & R-Truth
WWE Champion John Cena was clearly pained a night after suffering one of the worst pummelings of his career. Fresh off an “I Quit” Match against The Miz at WWE Over the Limit, The Champ was tapped to join Rey Mysterio in a tag team match against CM Punk & R-Truth with Bret Hart acting as special guest referee.
Despite a hard-charging effort by both Truth and his pious partner, Cena refused to let his battered and bruised body lie still. The Champ kicked out of sure pins and fought back with dogged determination. But even Cena’s steel-belted body has its limits. It would be up to WWE’s Littlest Big Man to carry the day for his team – a tall order he would fill with Herculian effort.
Rey capitalized on his elusive build and high-flying frame to hobble both Truth & Punk within seconds of one another. He then nailed Punk with a 619, but Hart wasn’t about to let him have all the fun. The WWE Hall of Famer, fed up with Punk’s in-ring antics, belted The Second City Savior across the jaw and locked him in the Sharpshooter, allowing Rey to pin his shoulders for the victory.

Bio.Christian(My WWE CAPTAIN CHARISMA)

He best friends with The Rated-R Superstar Edge
6'2"
227 lbs.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Killswitch
Ron Hutchinson
ECW Champion; Intercontinental Champion; World Tag Team Champion; Light Heavyweight Champion; Hardcore Champion; European Champion; World Heavyweight Champion
At different times in his celebrated career, Christian has been described as everything from smug to extremely confident. However one chooses to characterize Captain Charisma's extraordinary believe in himself, there is no doubt that the outspoken Superstar has been backing up every bit of his larger-than-life bravado.
First appearing as a long-haired member of the morbid faction known as The Brood, Christian won the Light Heavyweight Championship in his very first WWE match. This would only be the beginning of his highly-decorated career in the squared-circle.
Teaming with his lifelong friend Edge, Christian formed one of the most successful and most outlandish tag teams in WWE history. Together, they won the World Tag Team Championship on seven separate occasions.
The off-beat duo of "E & C" engineered some of WWE's most memorably absurd moments. Their egomaniacal "five-second pose for the benefit of those with flash photography" is legendary and their constant hi-jinks at the expense of the WWE Universe and their fellow Superstars proved as relentless to as they were hilarious.
But, it wasn't all fun and games. Known for using the chair in their dreaded signature maneuver Con-Chair-To, Edge & Christian fused their metal with the Hardy Boyz's ladders and the Dudleys tables, revolutionizing squared circle competition with the creation of the extreme Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.
No one can deny that Edge & Christian took part in many of WWE's most famous and dangerous tag-team matches, including the Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000; Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at SummerSlam 2000; TLC II at WrestleMania X-Seven; and TLC III on the May 24, 2001 episode of SmackDown.
The always-outrageous Christian would soon break out on his own, going on to win numerous titles throughout his career, both as a singles and tag team competitor.
And over the years, the WWE Universe came to form a great respect for the word-wielding warrior, a feeling he would truly embrace. He even nicknamed his fans the "Peeps” and created highly-entertaining "The Peep Show" in their honor.
However, perhaps none of his achievements was as extraordinary as when Christian fulfilled a lifelong dream in a brutal Ladder Match with Alberto Del Rio at Extreme Rules 2011, capturing his first-ever World Heavyweight Championship. This monumental milestone propelled him to the spotlight and notoriety as one of the greatest competitors in the history of the squared circle.

Bio.Randy Orton(My WWE VIPER)

The Viper is the New World Champion.
6'4"
245 lbs.
St. Louis, Mo.
RKO
WWE Champion; World Heavyweight Champion; Intercontinental Champion; World Tag Team Champion; 2009 Royal Rumble winner
Randy Orton doesn't have many interests. Other than listening to Metallica or Pantera and watching the occasional movie, wrestling is his life…or, as he would tell you, his destiny.
It's easy to understand why. His father is WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton, his uncle Barry "Barry O" Orton, and his grandfather "The Big O," the late Bob Orton, Sr. Most kids remember their first ball game or school play; Randy's childhood memories include sitting in the kitchen of his family's St. Louis home with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and repairing a broken banister leaned on by Andre the Giant. He wasn't even five years old when he watched his father knock out "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff in the main event at the inaugural WrestleMania, but he already knew he wanted to be a WWE Superstar.
Randy's parents tried dissuading him; his father even warned that life in the ring meant a life on the road, away from family. Yet Randy, seeing how his friends perceived his world-traveling dad in "a different light," recalls only thinking the prospect was "quite appealing, and something I wanted to do."
Still, he agreed to try other avenues first. After graduating Hazelwood Central High School in 1998 (where he was an accomplished amateur wrestler), Orton enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. His plan was to serve a four-year tour of duty, then focus on a wrestling career; his reality was a dishonorable discharge one year later, due to unauthorized absences on two occasions (one for 82 days) and for disobeying a superior officer's direct order. After spending 38 days in the brig of Camp Pendleton Base, he would resume his civilian life…and to pursuing his destiny.
Back home in St. Louis, Orton accompanied his father backstage at a local WWE live event in late 1999. He left the show with an opportunity to try out in Stamford, which soon resulted in a developmental deal to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling. Orton quickly rose through OVW's ranks, and in April 2002, he officially made his WWE debut.
And once he was given that opportunity, he never looked back. Whether as a standout member of elite factions such as Evolution, Rated-RKO and The Legacy, taking on a barrage of WWE legends or capturing multiple World Championships, Orton has not only lived up to his birthright, he has surpassed it.
The WWE Universe has called Randy Orton by many names over the years: The Legend Killer; WWE's Apex Predator and The Viper to name a few. But, what they can never deny calling him is one of the greatest Superstars in the squared circle today. But, that's no surprise; it's simply in his blood.

Bio.John Cena(My WWE CHAMP)

I hope him can keep WWE Championship.....
6'1"
240 lbs.
West Newbury, Mass.
Attitude Adjustment; STF
World Heavyweight Champion; WWE Champion; U.S. Champion; World Tag Team Champion; WWE Tag Team Champion; 2008 Royal Rumble Winner; 2010 Superstar of the Year Slammy Award winner

Let's be honest: hailing from the rolling hills and broad valleys that constitute West Newbury, Mass., will likely never earn you "street cred"--unless, of course, you're John Cena. Then again, it didn't happen overnight for him, either. Long before he became the Dr. of Thuganomics, young Cena had to endure the neighborhood rocker kids' taunts about his baggy pants and rayon Kwamé shirts. His love for freestyling lyrics about rebellion and individualism just didn't fit within the small rural community. By the time he turned 15, however, those same kids would stop teasing him, for it became apparent that Cena had been developing another passion: hitting the gym.
After applying to more than 60 colleges (and being accepted by 58), Cena attended Massachusetts' Springfield College, where he excelled as a Division III All-American offensive lineman and team captain for the Pride. But as much as he fondly remembers his college football accomplishments, he's equally as proud of earning his degree in Exercise Physiology, which he attributes to making him a smarter, more durable performer in the ring today.
Though a huge WWE fan since childhood, rooting for heroes like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and Shawn Michaels, Cena had honestly never even considered a career in WWE. Instead, he flew out to California in 2000, to pursue a profession in bodybuilding (a move he now admits to making simply because his father had told him he wouldn't make it out there). But while working behind the counter of Gold's Gym in Venice, a discussion with a wrestler-in-training encouraged Cena to enroll in classes at Ultimate Pro Wrestling. He was instantly hooked, and became motivated to learn everything he could about his newfound craft. He obviously proved a quick study; within a year, World Wrestling Entertainment signed Cena to a developmental contract to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling. By June 2002, he had joined the SmackDown roster, and less than a year later headlined the first of what has since become countless main-event matches.
That said, Cena has never forgotten his roots. In fact, remembering where he came from has helped him evolve into the man he is today: A well-versed hip-hop artist, a successful movie star and a blue-collared Superstar who's always ready to fight. He leads his WWE fan-based army into battle with the mission statement he's been down with since Day One: Hustle, loyalty and respect.

WWE Champion John Cena def. The Miz-Over The Limit

SEATTLEDon’t make John Cena angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.
Forced to rumble with both The Miz and his lackey, Alex Riley, in tonight’s “I Quit” Match, The Champ almost had his WWE Title taken from him when The Awesome One used a cell phone recording of Cena screaming out in submission to trick the official. But when The Miz’s scheme was revealed, an irate Cena unleashed hell, battering his two opponents before locking in a devastating STF to make his rival scream “I quit!”

It was an unforgettable ending to a bout that is quickly becoming John Cena’s trademark match. The Champ quit? It’s not going to happen. He’s never uttered the words in his life and that’s exactly why he chose this brutal stipulation for tonight’s contest. Having beaten powerhouses like Randy Orton, Batista and JBL in this dangerous environment, Cena knew his unbreakable spirit would give him a serious advantage over his spineless rival.
But The Miz is not an opponent to be taken lightly. Cunning and ruthless, he’s willing to do anything to win — something he proved time and time again during his five-month reign as WWE Champion. Not only did he outwit the likes of John Morrison and Jerry Lawler during his run, but he even managed to walk away from his WrestleMania XXVII showdown with Cena with the title still around his waist.

Tonight, The Awesome One knew he’d have to pull out all the stops if he wanted to leave WWE Over the Limit as champion, which is why he immediately took advantage of the fact that there were no disqualifications. Calling on the aid of his VP of Corporate Communications, The Miz turned the bout into a makeshift Handicap Match and brutally double teamed Cena with Alex Riley from the opening bell. Attacking their loathed enemy with everything that wasn’t nailed down, the vile duo abused The Champ, but he would not give up.When his physicality didn’t get the job done, The Miz borrowed a trick that The Rock used in his 1999 “I Quit” Match against Mankind and played a recording of Cena screaming the only two words that can bring an end to this bout. For a moment, the official was positive that The Champ had submitted and the title was nearly handed to The Cleveland Screamer. It
didn’t take long for the sleazy plot to unravel, though, and that’s when Cena snapped.

Still cross about losing his WrestleMania XXVII bout against The Miz due to The Rock’s involvement, The Champ took his long brewing fury out on The Awesome One and his toady in the KeyArena. After sending Riley through the announce table with a huge Attitude Adjustment, Cena chased The Miz up the entrance ramp where he smashed him to the ground before locking in a tight STF that made the slimeball cry out in defeat.

It was an amazing performance that once again made one thing abundantly clear — when John Cena is focused he cannot be beaten. There’s no doubt that The Champ’s WrestleMania XXVIII opponent, The Rock, was somewhere watching this match, realizing this very thing.

You’ve got to hand it to The Miz’s toady, Alex Riley – the guy is nothing if not loyal. One week after having being trapped in the STF compliments of WWE Champion John Cena, Riley was back, interrupting The Champ and heaping praise on his boss.

The WWE Champion and Miz, his adversary in an “I Quit” Match at WWE Over the Limit, stood toe-to-toe. As tensions mounted, Raw’s anonymous General Manager chimed in to announce, via Michael Cole, that, since The Champ got to choose the stipulation for their WWE Over the Limit match, The Cleveland Screamer would get to decide Cena’s opponent in the night’s main event match as well as the match stipulation. Miz grinned and deferred the decisions for later in the evening.

John Cena def. Jack Swagger.
When it comes to “I Quit” Matches, WWE Champion John Cena has a vocabulary consisting of just one word: “No.” The Miz realizes that fact and continues to try to figure a way to beat The Champ at WWE Over the Limit in just such a bout.
Earlier in the evening, Miz was allowed to choose both a match stipulation and an opponent for Cena in the night’s main event match and leveraged that to his advantage. The Cleveland Screamer chose a No Holds Barred Match and Jack Swagger as Cena’s opponent. The former World Heavyweight Champion got dirty right away, ambushing The Champ from behind. The All-American American would eventually pay for the ambush, though, when Cena snapped on an STF.
